20190105 - Books (updated 20240207)
I've always liked reading books that really make me think. Books that are philosophical in nature and provide some valuable food for thought on big questions in life. Or books that make me see my life experiences in a new way, or simply, books that I can *relate* to that describe what I've felt better than I can describe myself. I can honestly say that some books I've read have had such great impact on me that they transformed me and changed my life for the better, and here is a list of them in chronological order of when I read them. If I remember any other books or read any more great books I'll add them to the list :)
Sophie's World - Jostein Gaarder
7 Habits of Highly Effective People - Stephen Covey
Life of Pi - Yann Martel
The Republic - Plato
The Catcher in the Rye - J.D. Salinger
The Nicomachean Ethics - Aristotle
The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho
The Hobbit - J.R.R. Tolkien
Trollvinter - Tove Jansson
Kafka on the Shore - Haruki Murakami
Song of Achilles - Madeline Miller
